Dr. Ranjan earned a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) from the University of California, Berkeley, and was awarded the prestigious Chevening Fellowship by the UK Government, allowing him to study at the University of Oxford. His educational path extends across esteemed institutions such as Johns Hopkins University, USA; Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany; International Training Centre, Turin, Italy; and Korea Development Institute, South Korea. His pioneering work in applying disruptive technology to agriculture has earned widespread acclaim from the World Bank, Washington, DC.
Dr. Ranjan's illustrious career is marked by numerous prestigious accolades, including the "Director's Gold Medal" for achieving top rank during his IAS training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie. He has been honoured with the Prime Minister's 'MGNREGA Excellence Award' for two consecutive years, the 'Nirmal Gram Puraskar' presented by the President of India, and gold medals for topping Phase 3 and Phase 4 at LBSNAA. Additionally, he received the 'Star Raft Award' from the Asian Federation of Intellectual Disabilities in Japan, the 2024 National e-Governance Award, and the SPANDAN Award from the Government of India for his outstanding work supporting Individuals with special needs.
