Asha Khare is a distinguished professional with an academic experience of more than two decades in teaching English Language and Communication Skills to engineers and English Literature to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics (English) from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, MP. She has double postgraduate degrees, M.A. (English Literature) from University of Allahabad, Allahabad, UP and M.A. (Linguistics: English) from Dr Harisingh Gour University Sagar, MP. She also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching of English from Central Institute of English & Foreign Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad, AP (now English and Foreign Languages University, EFLU, Hyderabad, Telangana). She has to her credit more than 30 research papers presented at various national and international seminars and conferences and published in journals. Dr Khare has also contributed towards edited books published by Vikas Publishing House and Bahri Publications. She served as Lecturer at Barkatullah University, Bhopal, RKDF Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal and Ravindra Postgraduate College, Bhopal. She retired as Deputy Director, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi.
